Helicopter Spirals Out of Control into Palm Trees at Frequented California Shoreline
A helicopter hovering over a popular California coastline abruptly began spiraling wildly, ultimately descending rapidly and crashing into a row of palm trees as beachgoers looked on.
Footage posted online depict the helicopter commencing to spiral above the shoreline then falling towards the perimeter of the coast, where it gets stuck between palms and a set of stairs close to the shoreline route.
First Aid Information
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five persons were rushed to the hospital involving a pair who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” following the incident on Saturday.
Three people on the road were hurt. Information on their wounds were not immediately available.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.
